For Your Library

There aren't many things we recommend for purchase here at Bloom, but today I'm going to recommend that you purchase Liz Garton Scanlon's book All The World because it is beautiful and I think you will love it.

The illustrations are sweeping and captivating. The words are simple and deep. When I read it, I want to live bigger and brighter, and scale back to more meaningful simplicity.

My kids get wide-eyed with the emotion of the full-spread illustrations.

Although there aren't any named characters and the text isn't a plot as much as it is a poem, I appreciate a book like this that can capture my children's attention and give them some context for more abstract concepts like love, nature, stillness, togetherness, beauty, and the interwoven-ness of humanity.
