I (Em) am supposed to post today, but I am at the beach with my whole family. We're playing games and talking and taking personality tests and cooking delicious food and laughing 'til the tears flow and playing beach soccer (girls vs. boys - we're tied 1 & 1 - tie breaker is scheduled for late morning; I've never had so much fun in all my life!), loving each other more and more, especially our sweet Kate (little sister) who was in Ecuador for 8 weeks prior to this reunion. The ocean is magical and healing as ever. The mornings are foggy and damp, but the afternoons are sunny and sparkling. The boys have played a hundred games of pool. And all the girls rode a ghetto fabulous carousel in Seaside and ate donuts at Dundee's yesterday afternoon. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love. Families are the best ever. I will be back Thursday with pictures and more substantive thoughts, but for now can you forgive me for being brief and (mostly) picture-less?
