Welcome to the Wonderful World

We have the happiest of happy news to share with you today.

Anne gave birth to a sweet baby boy on Tuesday.

Bloomers, meet Carter...

Jared Carter Cropper (he prefers to be called Carter :)
7 lb. 13 oz. 21 in.
Isn't he wonderful?



Mom & Babe are doing well. (Could Anne look more gorgeous after just giving birth?!) Funny detail: remember when Anne came to terms with the fact that she'd probably be scratching "make cute hospital gown" off her pre-baby to-do list? She didn't have to wear the regrettable 'central laundry' issue after all. Cousin Sarah (of Frankly Entertaining fame) made her a custom gown. Darling.

Good work, Croppers. He's a keeper.

    Congratulations! I was thinking about Anne's wish for a pretty hospital gown the other day as I contemplated my own upcoming hospital visit, and now I wish I had a pattern to make one. She looks great!

    Congratulations! He is beautiful. And it just unfair that some women, like Anne, can look so amazing after just giving birth. I can never hope to look that good, but I can certainly make my own hospital gown -- thanks for the idea!
