Blue Eyed Freckle Giveaway (!)

I feel like I start all of my posts with: "one of our favorite things at Bloom..."

Truly though, one of our favorite things at Bloom is meeting kind, talented, creative people and introducing them to you!

Today we'd like to introduce you to Katie Kortman -- the kind, creative, talented gal behind Blue Eyed Freckle. Katie has a blog-ful of eye-candy-inspiration and whimsical ideas. Did you see her nursery featured at Ohdeedoh? You must go check it out!

In addition to her blog, Katie shares her creativity through the beautiful adornments in her shop.

In her own words:

"When I first started blue-eyed freckle I was making purses, earrings, headbands, collar/bib necklaces, and cards. I couldn't decide what it was that I wanted to focus in on. After my first Indie Craft festival I realized that hair accessories were the way to go. Since then (November 2008), I have been using felt and fabric to concoct new designs. I love the design process. I love to take little pieces left over from other headbands to create something new and I love to dye my own felt and create interesting color combinations. I get excited over each new piece I create and I love it when others do too!"
