FYI
With digital photography, it's easy to take a lot of pictures. I do this. I love this. However, sometimes it's a little overwhelming to decide what to do with all those photos. Occasionally I lament the fact that most of our family photos are just sitting in jpeg form on our hard drive, so I'm always happy to discover a great way to use/display our photos.
On that note, I'm planning to make a couple of Custom Photo Books as Christmas gifts this year. I was pretty tickled to see that Snapfish is offering a "Buy One Get One" promotion on their custom photo books through November 6th.
Not much time, so we'll have to get movin' if we want to seize the discount. Just wanted to share the coupon code with all of you:
FALLBOOKS09
Hope you're able to use it!
p.s. Have any of you actually made a book using Snapfish's service? How did it turn out?
xo,
Em
I used Snapfish last year for photo books--I was pretty happy with it. Much better than Kodak, which I used this year for photo calendars--the photos were way too dark and I don't think I'll use Kodak again. I liked the quality of the paper and the binding on the Snapfish books.
ReplyDeleteincidentally, though, Kodak right now has $15 of credit available if you either create a new account or have a prior account...not a bad deal. but I would go with light backgrounds. :-)
ReplyDeleteI also did this last year for Christmas gifts for grandparents & really liked Snapfish. It's pretty easy to use their templates. If I wasn't such a perfectionist, it probably wouldn't have taken me as long to do it...
ReplyDeleteI actually want to print off my blog & have it bound. Have any of you ever done it before & which company did you use? I assume Snapfish probably does it, but I like options...
This is perfect! I was also planning to make a couple of books of digital photos for Christmas gifts this year, but I hadn't yet researched how to get it done. I guess I'd better hurry if the deal ends on Friday :)
ReplyDeleteI've used Snapfish to make a couple photo books and was pleased with how they turned out.
ReplyDeleteArtsCow is offering something like 1400 free prints right now for new users. In addition they offer all kinds of free stuff each month. I just ordered a few 8X10's and a photo book, all FREE! You just pay for shipping. It takes a bit longer because it comes from Hong Kong, but I've been happy with the quality so far.
I actually just received my photo books from Sanpfish that I made with the coupon. They look geat! I think they're a perfect gift, and I love the custom covers. Just make sure to double check all your spelling, because they won't spell check for you!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a Snapfish one, but my brother made some one Christmas from Mac and they were adorable.
