I love Fridays.
Because it's Friday, because we love pretty things and the artists who create them, and because Sally is a kind and generous soul, we want to share with you the loveliness that is...
In plenty of time for letter writing on wintry nights and holiday correspondence, Design Studio is giving away this lovely collection:

Do I get extra points for being first? My Friday night plans... because my oldest is now 12 and eligible for a "real" scout campout tonight, I have promised the others that we will construct a fort for them to camp out in. Or camp in in. Not outside. Doesn't that make me sound like a fun mom?
ReplyDeleteFor my Friday evening, I'll be going to the grocery store and then I'll be off to start baking some gluten free foods for my sister. Not the most exciting night, but I'm pretty happy about it.

ReplyDeleteTonight I am husbandless so I'll be spending the evening finishing up Halloween costumes. If that gets too frustrating I might just sit at the computer and read blogs. Very exciting, I know!

ReplyDeleteI plan to sit and do nothing! After a day of being a mom, sometimes it's nice to not have anything planned. I'm just going to put my baby to bed, and then have a peaceful dinner with my husband. I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteI was going to have a girls night out at the movies, but after a day of watching my friend's 2 sick little girls, I'm too exhausted to go. Early bed time for me! That sounds so much better to me anyway. Maybe I'll even convince my husband to give me a massage.

ReplyDeleteTonight is a wonderful Friday night. My wife who has been on bed rest for over 10 weeks, had a doctors appointment yesterday. Our baby who is now at 33 weeks is finally seeming to have slowed his/her descent. While my wife is still on bed rest, she has been cleared to do a little more because 33 weeks according to the Doc, is a pretty safe time to deliver a baby. So, as a way of showing her how much I love and appreciate her "resting" for almost 3 months, I have decided to take her to one of her all time favorites. West Side Story is being performed by the local high school she hasn't thought she would be able to go. She is so excited to show the kids the first musical that she was ever in. The kids don't know about it yet, so the surprise will be fun too.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason this didn't post on Friday.....hope it still counts?
Running a little late in posting this comment. But I spent Friday night with good friends from my college days catching our favorite Irish cover band. Perfect way to spend a cold rainy evening.
ReplyDeleteHomework, boo!
ReplyDeleteFor my Friday night my husband is taking me out for frozen yogurt and a walk through the dollar store. Super exciting I know, but we'll be alone!
ReplyDeleteI'm just now reading this on Sunday morning because my Friday night plans involved leaving our house at 10am, drive 4 hours south to St. George, find a campsite(we decided tohave an adventure and not plan a whole lot of things), and finally have a successful camping trip. And we SUCCEEDED! Hope everyone else's was just as fun and family oriented. I loved it.
ReplyDeletefriday was spent with my husband who was gone all week on business.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I'm too late, but I spent my Friday at my hubby's high school reunion...it was awesome!
